The JungleLite was by far the most popular OTB Boot and when they went away, customers were bummed. But Dan Ellis revived the brand and improved the design.
We have been monitoring the status of these boots as they make their way through customs here in the US, and they are finally ready to order.
Looks great! How is the fit compared to an original pair of OTB JungleLites (pre-NB era)?
The fit is exactly the same. We are using the same last or form as was used originally.

looking forward to getting a pair. I finally wore out my first pair of Desertlites last year.
For three years I used the originals for daily duty, rucking, jumps, and on quite a few occasions in combat zones. Congrats to Dan for reviving the brand, making the new version regulation compliant, and staying true to the original design.
Same here. Never had another pair of boots I liked as much as the Jungle Lites (only exception being my current Salomon Forces – thanks for stocking the non-GTX model OPT). Will definitely need to pick up a pair of these for when I need to be in regs.
Is there a Canadian retailer? Cross border orders are such a pain.
No locking in Canadian Distributor yet……working on it for 2019 (which is around the corner….)

Good to see the OTBs are back. Any plans to make the black boots without zippers (please say yes…)
No plans to make Black boots w/o zips…..some foreign militaries are asking us the same but not for large distribution at this time….

Thanks for the response. Just not a fan of the zippers for duty boots, prefer laces only.

Dan Ellis knows how to make boots and knows how to make a boot for use in the jungle. I have the originals and they have not disappointed.

When I first bought these…the cushioning gave out really early in two different pairs. Have you fixed that problem?

We are using a higher rebound cushion now. Best stated the boot is “new and improved”…. same fit and feel with updated materials.
