    I don’t think we need a “revolutionary” shot timer, we just need one that brings all the various features (and promised ones) into one package. As right now there are bit and pieces, like the Shotmaxx promised bluetooth support including download results and allowing a phone to control the setting but never delivered due to their poor implementation of an API.

    And then there is the rechargeable battery, don’t use barrel connectors, lets move to standard micro USB or USB-C. If no rechargeable battery either use a better battery box for 9Vs or use AA or AAA batteries (with support to nimh and lithium rechargables).

    Beyond that I haven’t seen that many improvements that could be made. The basic shot timer works pretty well.

      Since my last post got nuked for (I assume) violating posting guidelines (which I apologize for), let me just say that something like you describe above already exists if you search some of the more well-known internet shooting forums.
