The Design and R&D Team at PDW states:
“Our Raider Field Pant is without a doubt our best selling pant style and currently used across the globe. A wide array of discriminating outdoorsmen, adventurer travellers and users in the government to the DoD has enthusiastically embraced this pant. The most requested iteration to follow up our first 5050 NYCO ripstop version was to produce these in our popular Guide Cloth. This Raider Pant features our 2.0 version of our Guide Cloth, which is tougher, lighter, and more abrasion resistant. It can be worn year round in great range or conditions, environments, dries fast and resists dirt and stains. The styling is purpose driven but can easily worn from wilderness to urban setting with an understated and unaffected appearance. While our MILSPEC 5050 NYCO version remains a staple for many, those looking for a more technical variation in a superlative all around field and utility pant, this iteration in our Guide Cloth is an ideal choice.”
The PDW Raider Field Pant GC will be available for purchase on Wendesday, October 24, 2018 at 12:00 noon PT via their website, prometheusdesignwerx.com.

Can anyone describe their experience with this fabric? Is this a soft shell type material?
It is not soft shell material, but does have 4 way stretch with DWR.
Is it ‘Built in USA’ with foreign materials, or is it ‘Made in USA’ where 97% of all materials and labor cost are US-based?
Their website says “Designed, Crafted, Cut, and Sewn in California” so maybe they source the material overseas, but everything else done in California.
The material is imported, and as Keith said it is designed, cut and sewn here.
