Amabilis is back with another Kickstarter campaign, this time for the UR-2 Urban Responder Rucksack and Tactical Tote.

The Tactical Tote is made of military-grade waterproof Tarpaulin and fully lined with high-visibility waterproof nylon, with a base made of SuperFabric Ceramic Armor Plates. The Tactical Tote features a volume of 1300 cu in. / 21L, with a large zippered interior pocket, exterior stash pocket, 15″ padded laptop compartment, and two mesh side pockets. The tote can be carried either by straps or an included shoulder carry strap. Additional features include a magnetic top opening closure, tonal night reflective logo, and 2 embroidered Velcro panels with laser cut MOLLE slots.

The UR-2 Urban Responder Rucksack is made of military-grade waterproof Tarpaulin and fully lined with high-visibility waterproof nylon, with a base made of SuperFabric Ceramic Armor Plates. Internally, the UR-2 features a zippered tablet/stash pocket, large pocket sleeve for a hydration bladder, and a dry bag-style collar closure. The exterior features a quick access 15″ padded laptop compartment with waterproof zippers, a stash zippered pocket, cellphone/wallet zippered pocket, contoured shoulder straps, a sternum strap, air channel back padding, a Neoprene port for cables or hydration tube, and dual zipper main compartment access. Like the Tote Bag, the UR-2 also features 2 embroidered edge Velcro panels with laser cut MOLLE slots. Each UR-2 also comes with a removable modular organizer board and grey Velcro-backed commuter pockets.

    So to be clear, not a specific mil-spec tarpaulin, but rather military grade meaning weight and durability.
