TRIGGRCON 19 – SilencerCo MAXIM Non-NFA Pistol Update

Now that the cat’s out of the bag on the Non-NFA version of SilencerCo’s delayed blowback MAXIM Pistol, they’re publicly showing it. This 9mm pistol is specifically designed to operate with a detachable suppressor of your choice.

As you can see, the fixed barrel is threaded for supressor attachment. This design allows the Red Dot to be mounted in front of the ejection port so it won’t slam back and forth as the pistol fires, allowing you to stay on target and less wear and tear on the optic.

In this configuration, the pistol’s lines give me a Walther vibe.

No date yet on when it will be released.

I did not dig the Maxim 9. It was always in the armorers office or back at SiCo for repairs. Baffle strikes. Super dirty. It just really suffered being a rental gun and it didnt make me feel good about owning one…

This, on the other hand, this is really really cool and I cant wait to see where this goes. I want one real bad. Good on SiCo for growing their Maxim idea!

Great out of the box thinking on the rds mounting.

Can you reference what the issues were per armorer relative issues. I’m not a fan boy or employee of the company. I own a few of the pistols where I heavily modified them for interface and use applications. I’m concerned I may stray into an area where I may amplify an exiting issue I’m unaware of.
These (above) guns aren’t pounded as hard as a training phase pistols or EDC, more a specific parameter design. Hence, you may have gotten to a place much quicker than most with any particular issue.
    Thanks.
