Designed by former Marine Matthew Adams, Quickcord, stores, dispenses and cuts Paracord because he was tired of untangling cordage when he needed to use it. Additionally, Quickcord can be operated one-handed.
There’s an additional function which I find most interesting. Quickcord will hold a Chemlite and quickly configured as a buzz saw signaling device thanks to the cord contained inside.
Available in two colors.

Looks neat, but just too big and bulky
Disagree with it looking bulky. Much less to snag on than a roll of 550 you throw in your bag… the only thing I hate is Kickstarter. I’ll wait for it to actually come out and will pay retail.
Hi Pete! Thanks for the compliment. This is Matt Adams, President at Quikcord. Just wanted to clear up the worry of it being bulky. We designed Quikcord so it in fact was NOT bulky. It fits easily in the palm of your hand and the shape allows it to fit almost anywhere. For example; a single stack 5.56 mag pouch, IFAK, most utility pouches, any pocket, glove box, etc…. coming from a military background I understand that heavy gear just isn’t worth it. Fully stacked Quikcord weighs only 4.8 ounces. Hope that clears things up and hope to gain you as a customer. Let me know if you have any other questions! Take care!
Also, I would have shopped the concept to a company like Magpul or Thyrm- to me, this seems to be just up their alley as a specialized plastic container for an existing product.
This looks like a great fit to contain and dispense paracord. Going to order one. Great asset to my camping bag accessories/tools.
Cool idea. Atwood Rope MFG makes a similar product called the Tactical Rope Dispenser (TRD) that holds more cordage but doesn’t seem as sturdy
Hi Ryan! Matt Adams, President at Quikcord here. We are familiar with the TRD and would like to highlight some of our capabilities. Several big ones that set us aside from the TRD. We have ZERO moving parts in Quikcord. The cord is not spooled or rolled and wound around anything. This does 2 things… eliminates the mechanical failure aspect and in turn makes the product extremely quiet (it doesn’t rattle around). Another one is our emergency signal capability, something no one else brings to the table. Quikcords slender cylindrical design allows it to fit almost anywhere… its not bulky and not meant to be worn like a tape measure. And lastly to your point of sturdiness. Our plastic is meant to have the hell beat out of it… Hope that clears up any questions you may have. I’d love to gain you as a customer! Have a good holiday Ryan!
Missed Kickstarter, wondering if you plan on selling item on a website or retail thru a distributor?
This doesn’t seem easy to buy, or is it just me?
