Finally! are team does a lot of low vis stuff and I usually wear my teva’s bc unlike my flip flops I can run after someone if shit goes south, only issue is blisters. Definitely bying these
Bruh! My TL says he wore these during the War in Saudi only he had to make his own out of a mitten and a sock! Said he was able to disarm several Taliban during combative ops using his big toe! Trying to get grant money to outfit me and the ATL in time for annual traning but due to covid we might only be able to get masks!
A mitten? That’s some outside the box thinking right there! I’m concerned with the textile compound they went with here, for Arid and Jungle environments your gonna want at least 80% coolmax with a 30% blend of wool and lycra. and then for sub zero temps I would recomend a 50/50 blend of cotton and nylon. Ive learned this the hard way, ive lost to toes to frostbite!
Brutha theres more to that story! After door crashing with his Bareta pistol he took down a insurgent with a blade! He had a piece of his kevlar vest an put it in the sock an it stopped the blade dead in its tracks! They should make a bulletproof stab resistent insert for blade combatives on target!
Great to hear from Horshack about this topic! I’ve been missing his and his TL’s insight. I’m sure he has been real busy with ops.
Most definitely. It’s been too long without Horshack and his TL’s valuable insights.
Yes!!!! It’s been too long!
