Marketing Coordinator

The Murray Road Agency seeks a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills for the role of Marketing Coordinator. Candidates should be proficient with excel, data/resource management platforms, publishing software and other common creative and communication programs. The Marketing Coordinator should also be a proficient written and verbal communicator and project manager able to handle a variety of tasks and items and also be comfortable with/knowledgeable of the outdoor/shooting industry.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

• Working knowledge of cloud sharing, Google Docs, and Drobox

• Knowledge of project and task management tools such as Basecamp, Trello and Monday

• Scheduling meetings and appointments and preventing conflicts.

• Taking notes and minutes in meetings

• Preparing documents for meetings

• Processing and directing mail and incoming packages or deliveries

• Writing and issuing emails to teams on behalf of teams or senior staff

• Researching and booking travel arrangements

• Finding ways to improve administrative processes

• Support marketing executives in organizing various projects

• Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)

• Update spreadsheets and databases.

• Assist in the organizing of promotional events and attend them to facilitate their success.

• Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts

• Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing.

• Understanding client product and brand.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.

• 2-3 years of experience.

• Administration or sales and marketing experience.

• Proven writer with editing skills/experience a plus.

• A high level of attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Good organization skills.

• Related job and internship experience.

• Digital marketing experience.

• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines

• Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases

• Experience with the outdoor industry, hunting, and firearms a plus
