Anyone Ever Get The Blue Ones?

The ubiquitous government issue Skilcraft pen. I always got the black ones but apparently they came in blue as well.

    Its the Mandela Effect!

    Blue Falcon pen?

Black was good for 2 sigs and a return on the inter-dept mail manila. Blue wasn’t.

I have one or two blue pens.

Never saw a blue one, but did know about the hack of using a Fisher refill in them. Everybody had their special – remember the Parker woodland camo pens? But nobody would take a issue pen and it was all yours to use.

Along with the memo book you were well set up for any office business. That pen and those journals were a required item even in the field.

There is seldom seen *rare* red one as well.

I thought they were all blue-black

I found four of the black ones in my old footlocker in the basement. The plastic had oxidized but it cleaned up with some alcohol.

I had to order a bunch of these for the UPL tests (aka urinalysis) so Soldiers could sign in blue. The GSA catalog has the NSNs on these. I prefer this style of Skillcraft pen (Black, Blue, Red) over the other plastic pens.

I still have my last one tucked away in my 201 files. Finding a box of those was like finding gold. Grab them quick and make off with them before someone tries to make you split them up. I too have seen the red one but I have never seen the Blue. Signed many a pay book line with those pens back when the 1SG would have you sign in in the morning and sign out in the afternoon.

Seen a bunch of the blue ones at embassies, actually.

Bought some recently on Amazon. Cheap, durable and last a long time. Been using these things since the 80’s and they never go out of style!

We have blue and black ones in fedworld but only had black ones in the army
