Mandogator by Hazard4

Now available, the Mandogator modular tactical boot gaiters. Made of 1000D Cordura lower with water-repellent breathable stretch membrane upper (just like their famous Poncho Villa), Mandogator includes various pull tabs and length-adjustable lace clip, while the grip strip keeps gaiters up. The adjustable stirrups are also replaceable and have no-slip edging.

They lost me at the molle webbing.

Bought a Hazard4 MultiCam Launch-Pad for my iPad – protects my iPad as any decent quality carry-case, should – however disappointingly, just read they’re discontinuing them. The Mandogators kinda/sorta look neat but can’t imagine why anyone would want to put MOLLE webbing on gators that would very likely get hung-up on brambles and branches when going through brush and woodland. Think I’ll continue using my rather boring Outdoor Research Gators – they’re made in coyote and black and also in MultiCam.

The molle webbing look like snagging nightmare.

In the photo he’s got a pocket knife in the Molle webbing. I can’t imagine a product team more out of touch with the end user. This is 100% in line with the ENDO crowd. I can totally see a dagger or throwing bolts in sheaths attached to that Molle on that page. As he says the wolves ain’t ready lol.

The thing is literally inspired by and named after the mandalorian. Whom, if you recall, has things resembling gaiters with otherwise unfunctionally placed gear on them. Being “for fun” and less for pure functionality is half the point.
