Microtech’s first model is the L-UDT. Created in 1995 it remains one of their most popular models. Featuring a grooved, contoured aluminum handle with jimping along the top of the handle that carries onto the spine of the blade.

I have been wanting a manual version of this folder forever! Microtech, please make this in a manual folder!
I’ve been carrying the same Microtech Socom M\A for duty since 98′ and a Socom Elite-A for EDC since 2001. These knives are absolutely amazing and will be passed onto my sons once I retire. I recently (more like finally!) picked up one of the L-UDTs this past year and don’t go anywhere without it. Keep up the amazing craftsmanship and customer service Microtech!!!
I’ve been looking for an LUDT for a long time.
I carried a micro-socom auto for years until it was stolen. These days I’m carrying a Benchmade Phaeton, but I’d still love a LUDT one day as they are just simple and iconic knives.
