It would be a good thing for them to have a description tab or caption. Maybe they copy / paste what you wrote. Seems interesting, but I would like a diagram or a demonstration vid. They should definitely have something like that on the link page you enclosed.

It really doesn’t make much sense to design a dedicated piece of equipment to support a field expedient or exigent technique. If it’s only for training, then it’s going to create a training scar of relying on a piece of equipment that you won’t have on your normal rig. There’s real potential to create and muscle memory where you search for the gadget’s location when the technique itself calls for using any hard edge, including a boot sole, a holster, or even a door frame. I suppose it makes sense if you are an instructor frequently demonstrating this to prevent wear and tear on your gear, but only if you ensure that the students knew that they should use any available appropriate surface for the technique.
