This 1942 US Army training film is a great snapshot in time, depicting various clothing and equipment issued at the time to ski troops, specifically members of the 10th Light Division.

One Response to “WWII US Army Training Film – Ski Equipment”
Thank you for this post. Interesting how the WWII gear was actually quite effective and practical. Then I look at the ECWS system which was fielded by the year 2000 and the military (1) had regressed and (2) had adopted the marketing department materials from those suppliers actually believing what they said (“this will keep you warm and dry”).
