Interesting concept and could certainly make overloaded assault packs a lot more comfortable. I especially like the choice of lengths, something that’s always been troublesome for taller troops with both ALICE and MOLLE frames, especially the MOLLE Medium ruck that seems to have been tailored for a 5’6″ dude.
The construction reminds me of the pre-ALICE jungle rucksack frames but I could definitely see some body armor interface issues.

Eberlestock has had a pack with a similar off the back frame design. Great for jumping and humping heavy loads.
