Great website. However; I have struggled with past orders from Elite. Specifically, when placing an overnight (rush) order, a confirmation for delivery was received but then it never arrived. After speaking with someone from Elite, I learned many of their items are not stocked and the orders are sometimes delayed based upon third-party shippers. I get it…but the buyer should be advised of these circumstances and not led to believe their rush delivery is on schedule.
Steve, thank you for the constructive feedback! Sorry to hear about your experience, it’s totally unacceptable. (I will do 100 burpee penance.) We stock our fast moving items, and ship them out the same day as ordered (if ordered before noon). And we have pretty extensive (read: beaucoup $ duckets) inventory. However to give customers better breadth and offering, we do sometimes ship from stocking third parties. I agree with you 100% that we should more clearly communicate that, particularly as it relates to turnaround time. As a matter of fact, that’s one of the looooong list of reasons why we totally replatformed our system & site, to allow us to make user-friendly changes such as this. So stay tuned, we still have a metric shit ton of loose ends from the relaunch, but this is definitely on the list!
