Stop Teasing Already And Just Release It

For the past several weeks, Geissele Automatics has been teasing new lower receivers in the Desert Dirt Color.

They’ve even mentioned both MK8 (pictured) and MK4 uppers.

    Tell that to Q.

  2. Mr Peripatetic says:

As a Pennsylvanian I would love this to be real. Assuming it’s Geissele that’s making it.

  3. Gerard says:

Anything made my GA is going to be good, I cant wait

  4. Chuck says:

This would be an immediate buy for me. Geissele, just make everything. You’re so good at it.

    • Joe says:

Basically this…but there has to be more to it than just a lower. No one is crying about their Colts or BCMs. What is Geissele going to bring to the table? The same thing Hodge is?

      • Diddler says:

Nothing? Never caught a glimpse of a Hodge in the wild. Maybe if I had press creds.

        • SSD says:

None of the gun press guys I know have a Mod 2. I’ve got a preproduction Mod 1.

          • Diddler says:

That wasn’t a ding pointed at SSD. I was merely saying that I’ve never seen a Hodge-of any type-that wasn’t on the Internet. I’m sure someone owns one though that isn’t connected to the gun industry or media.

      • Chuck says:

I have no idea. But Geissele could make a beer can holder for a cub cadet and I’d buy it. Just because it would be the best beer can holder in the world.

  5. USASOF says:

Wow, a GEN 1 lower with no improvements! Thats a must have! Really, step it up GA.

    • Non-operator says:

This…..aside from fit really well with the upper, and possibly be really light if they use some space age materials, I don’t understand the hype.

  6. Alex says:

    I want one!!!

Knowing G it’s got to have tight tolerances.

  7. Warren says:

Love my G rail on my HK but come on guys, another AR?

  8. Stephen says:

The pictures out there showing forged lowers with “Geissele” on it or a “G” were handouts to various winners of some events I thought, but if they’re going to make their own… I hope its from start to finish because a forged lower with a name on it is nothing more still than a forged lower. Tight tolerances could not sway me either. A billet Geissele lower with features now might offer some allure though.
