SHOT Show 18 – Yeti Hondo

Displayed at both SHOT Show and Outdoor Retailer Winter Market, the Hondo is a base camp folding chair.

This thing is beefy at 16.5 lbs, but will handle a 3,000 lbs load. If the mesh back and seat, combined with over molded arms remind you of the Aeron chair, that’s because it was designed by Brian Langerak who came to Yeti from Herman Miller.

    Can’t count the number of cheap camping chairs that broke and went into the fire

    I recommend the alps mountaineering king kong camp chair for truly beastly durability. I’m 6ft 240lbs bodybuilder and it’s lasted 3 years of daily use. Cheap too for under $70.

    Alps mountaineering is a very underappreciated brand
