Tasmanian Tiger isn’t first to the market with this sort of thing, but they’ve done one thing a bit different than the others. The rear is adjustable with bungee cord.
It also features hook and loop panels on the pockets sewn into the Softshell material.

So in other words they 100% ripped off the Unity Tactical CLUTCH that does this exact same thing – including the shock cord adjustment in the back. Literally the exact same product.
I own a CLUTCH and it is a sized item that is not adjustable. The TT product doesn’t have anti-slip hypalon on the inside. The TT product has looped material to add bungee retention on it where the Clutch does not. The TT product has hook and loop inside the pockets where the Clutch only has loop. The TT product has some loop on the outside. The TT Product is available in Coyote while the Clutch is available in Multicam.
Not literally the same product.
The Clutch is also completely unavailable from the Unity website whereas the TT product is available for purchase. Besides the fact that Unity didn’t create this idea (though theirs is the best yet implementation) they also don’t have exclusive rights to build such a product. I for one am glad to have a different option to try out.
Clutch IS absolutely adjustable.
This looks VERY similar to the Unity Tactical Clutch in form and function… I’ll be curious to see what is said here, given the first comment…
We (Unity Tactical) actually hold a patent on the CLUTCH. This product is a straight up knockoff. Our belt is totally adjustable in the exact same way Tasmanian does – with a lace up shock cord in the back. The only thing they did differently was add little loops for shock cord retention. This is a blatant rip-off by a non-US company.
That’s odd because the Clitch is available in 3 separate sizes on Unity’s website.
When will the clutch system be back in stock?
I am curious but how have you been granted a patent on the clutch? For what unique feature, technical innovation or design? Do not get me wrong I think it is obvious that Tasmanian Tiger has been “inspired” by your product nevertheless I am even convinced that to might win in a lawsuit as your product is not unique, you were not the one inventing this design, nor it has a technical component worth a patent.
Looking at the pictures of the Clutch online, you can see the adjustment feature. I would guess the adjustment piece is for fine tuning while the different sizes are general fit. One google search for Unit tactical patents led to this page:
