TacJobs – B&T USA Seeks Global Business Development and Sales Manager

B&T USA is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Global Business Development and Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Vice President of International Operations, the Global Business Development and Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities on an international scale and brings a proven track record of sales success to the table. Working knowledge of the firearm industry, ITAR & BIS regulations, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the bidding and contract processes for military and law enforcement clients will be necessary for success, and candidates should be travel-savvy, as this role involves extensive international travel to include client meetings, industry trade events, demonstrations, and acceptances.

Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, the candidate should be naturally organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and negotiation skills are a must. We are seeking someone adept at working independently and without extensive supervision, as well as adept at working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and who understands that communication across channels is the key to the success of the organization. This role does not have direct report responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• With the Vice President of International Operations, develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve international sales objectives

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients of varying ethnicities, cultures and backgrounds, with a hard focus on customer service skills and problem solving

• Conduct market research and analyze sales metrics to identify opportunities, competitive threats and industry trends

• Design of end-to-end procurement strategies

• Develop and implement product training presentations

• International travel to trade shows and client accounts

SKILLS

• Proven experience in the firearms marketplace—firearm product knowledge is a must

• Knowledge of foreign export operations

• Familiarity with various international trade laws and customs

• Understanding of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and ITAR regulations

• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills

• Extensive project management experience

• Strategic thinker and problem solver able to respond agilely and appropriately to changing regulatory and business climates

• Expert-level working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

• Ability to work independently while also maintaining open communications and strong working relationships with cross-functional team members

• Willingness to work outside of typical U.S. business hours as needed

• Foreign language skills will be given additional consideration

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelor’s degree in international business, marketing or a related field

• Master’s Degree with a concentration in international business preferred

• Overseas work experience preferred

• Minimum 5 years related sales experience

• Minimum 5 years Firearms industry experience

JOB TYPE

FT-Salary:   $100,000 – $125,000 annually (dependent on experience) plus commission
