Warrior Grips – Now Doing Mags

You have read about Warrior Grips LLC before. Now this small Arkansas-based company is doing custom work on rifle magazines, adding texture mods to them. They’re still testing and evaluating them, so it may be just a little bit yet before they can be purchased in any large quantities, but you should definitely watch for them to become commercially available.

    destroys resale value of magazine.

get a soldering iron and ruin the value of your gear on your own.

  2. Administrator says:

Resale value of a magazine? You’re kidding right?

  3. L4H says:

Is that texturing due to reshaping of the original polymer of the magazine, or does the technique involve melting new material onto the existing body? The latter seems like an interesting idea, but I’d have serious concerns about the integrity of the former. (Serious Question)

  4. WarriorGrip says:

We simply use the existing polymer and reshape the top layer. No it does not affect the mag either. I have worked with polymers for a long long time. I wouldn’t try and sell broke shit . LOL 🙂
    Beats sandpaper tape.

  5. Looks cool and probably helps in the use of the mag but I can’t imagine shipping something to them to have it modified seeing as you probably have already paid shipping on your mags when you bought them. If they do the mag mod and then sell them with the value add that might make since.

  6. L4H, passed that question on to the manufacturer, hope to hear back soon. It’s not reshaping, they are adding new material as best I know.

  7. WarriorGrip says:

We are testing these and several other manufacturers brands. I have worked with polymers for a long long long time. There has been no failures due to the resurfacing procedure we apply. Thanx for the questions. Stay Safe and Merry Christmas

  8. L4H says:

Thanks for the quick response. Very interested.

We’ve used skater tape for several years in competition shooting, but never thought of putting it on my M4 mags…

I think they use these at the new “mall Ninja” school. Viper Academy
