I get questions from people all of the time about Kitanica. Usually, the questions revolve around who wears them. Well I can tell you one guy who wears Kitanica. Steve Reichert, American badass, that’s who.
Here’s Steve wearing a Kitanica Mk I in Coyote.

I dunno, while I like the look and I think it might be a great biker jacket I can’t get rid of the feeling of putting on a converted backpack.
Whatever bad-ass credentials this guy had, completed evaporated when he put on that jacket one posed for that photo.
Seriously, this jacket is fugly.
That coat rocks
Some celebrity endorsing a product? Tell me, why am I not impressed.
It’s image marketing gone wrong: Kitanica = overpriced and impractical; If you buy it, you’ll be the clueless wanna-be celebrity poser.
Fail.
The funny thing is that you think this photo came from Kitanica. It didn’t. It came from Steve. This is how he actually dresses. Maybe you can take it up with him next time you see him and tell him that you think he should dress differently since obviously, the clothing makes the man.

Kind of reminds me of a highpower shooting jacket.
adam savage from mythbusters wears one
Yes, he’s a badass, but still…despite being a jacket whore, I can’t like that jacket.
It reminds me more of my jacket I wear on my motorcycle. I would like to try one on to see how it fits. I don’t subscribe to the looks over performance train of thought. I just like stuff that works like it is supposed to.
I agree they’re line in 500 Cordura with high collars would be well suited to motorcycling. I don’t understand the need for the straps across the front of their jackets. Their clothing looks to be extremely well made though especially their pants.
Fanny Pack — Fail
That’s no fannypack. That’s a tactical codpiece.
Out of all the jackets I have owned over the years this one is just about bomb proof. The “tactical codpiece” was not a fashion choice, it contains essential tools for the tasks at hand. Do I think the jackets are expensive? YES Do I think they are worth every dime? YES Can they be improved upon? Yes. Semper Fi
