There’s some hippie out there believing every last bit of this. Sometimes, I wonder about freedom of speech. Yeager’s like this shouldn’t be allowed to write stuff.
Hilarious. Ya know bullshit like this only works if we the people decide to put up with it. Make sure your voice is heard against stupidity (literally) like this.
We have a word in our language for this: mosavirhe. (compound word: mosa [slang for: conscript recruit, private, “newb”] + virhe [error, mistake])
It means a beginner’s mistake of the highest order.
I’ve made my political stance on civilian ownership of certain types of firearms (modern military), but to see mistakes of this order in ANYTHING is draining if not for the headache from the facepalming.
I dont find it funny because its idiots that set the bans and most dont even understand the basic functionality.
For those of you who reside in NY state, check this out.
For those who don’t live in NY, hope other states don’t follow suit.
Yes you’re right, but it’s a bayonet mount that moonshines as a grenade launcher attachment point.
(but really, it’s a sling attachment. How they get that wrong is beyond me because someone somewhere had to know just enough to wrong about everything. Although that’s most likely the exact basis for an assault weapons ban.)
Are they afraid of bullets or knives?
That 5 inch blade doesn’t scare me! Oh my it’s on the end of a rifle now I’m afraid of the knife! Oh no! Not a grenade launcher! Is grenade launcher crime common in the US?
Also, they might confuse it with a special mount for a Flux Capacitor used to shoot down unicorns. Those Fuckers are all over Middle East. NSN 5347-01-587-2563
Think about the implications of what someone who believes that will do, they’ll rat to the police “that person has a grenade launcher”. The snitch culture that is being promoted needs uninformed personnel.

Ok. They can ban the front sling swivel. Nobody uses it anymore and it just makes noise.
