Håkan Spuhr showed me his developmental AR-style buttstock adapter and modular handguard for the G3 rifle.
This adapter gets rid of that damnable hump and offers not only the AR-style collapsible stock but more stability in dealing with recoil. Additionally, new sighting options open up due to the new sight plane.
This handguard introduces modularity to the 1950s design of the widely used G3.

That piece mounted in the handguard is for using NVDs? Genious!
Norway has had a prototype buttstock adapter like that for years.
I’ve seen tons of adapters to use M4 stocks, but this is the first I see that allows a forward/upper cheek placement while straighting the recoil (just saw the video on Spuhr’s Youtube channel).
Norweigan.
Please look at this little movie where I exxplain the idea and you will probably understand the concept.

Brilliant. We have a lot of G3 guys at my clubs. They would love these.
I want, but not on the company website yet
