Here members of Company F (Pathfinder), 5th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 101st Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) conduct FRIES training at a deployed location. The 101st has two Pathfinder Companies with the second being Company F (Pathfinder), 4th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 159th Aviation Brigade which was created from the Long Range Surveillance Detachment formerly assigned to the now disbanded 311th Military Intelligence Battalion.
I was a Team Leader in the old LRSD unit. Great unit! Thanks for the focus on the forces. Good to see they found a mission. I hope that they still have a friendly competition with the other Pathfinder company that we had with them in the 90’s

Hard to see the detail on my phone but can anyone tell me what typically might be causing the paint to wear on the bottom of the Blackhawk? I have not seen a wear pattern like that before. Maybe its just the way it looks on my phone.
@fmlbest – its mud.
Glad to see my unit made it onto the force focus! That was an awesome day but the night iteration was much better.
