You’ve heard us refer to a shade of Grey as ‘MAS Grey’ but some of you may not know where it comes from. It’s the shade of the Maritime Assault Suit manufactured by dry suit manufacturer Kokatat. For the past decade Kokotat has been making the NSW issue MAS although ironically, they refer to the color of the suit as Alpha Green or Sepia.
Many features now considered standard for military dry suits were first integrated on the MAS such as pockets that replicate combat uniforms.

The angled zipper looks a ton easier to use then the ones we have to work with. I have no flexibility and I feel like a T-Rex trying to get myself into those things.

These look just like the ones we are issued in the Coast Guard. Very nice suits if one maintains them correctly
