This arrived today at my house. My initial impression of these and of the shorter version of them I fondled is positive. I wear another Reebok boot to work and these are turning into my hikers.

Yes, it was basically a license swap.
Eric is 100% correct although the Dauntless is a completely new boot under the Reebok brand.
