Neat . . . but what prevents you from accidentally firing the gun with the stock folded?
In a battle between lucidity and stupidity, always bet on stupidity.
What prevents you from accidentally firing a standard AR?
You obviously don’t get it. Accidentally fire a standard AR, destroy whatever is in front of the muzzle. Accidentally fire an AR with this adapter, destroy whatever is in front of the muzzle . . . and the BCG exiting the rear of the rifle at high speed will destroy whatever is directly behind the gun.
Not really, there is a catch to prevent the bolt from coming back on you. You may still destroy the bolt, but its not going to come back at you at least.
The bolt will not be destroyed, I have watch a video and seen in person what happens if your fire folded with the gen 2, (video 5.56, in person .308) it slightly bends the housing of the adapter. Law Tactical stated that this happens so that it does not damage the host firearm should you accidently fire when folded, the bolt is held in place and nothing comes out the back. (so now you only have to worry about that 62gr piece of metal you just neglegenly sent out at 3000fps.) 😉
Priceless,
What changed between generations?
