Definitely doesn’t seem to be the case from looking at the pics. Admins always interfere with mag access; just about every single one.

Conceptually I agree. However there’s something to be said for the practical value of having information close at hand for select individuals on the ground. Also, TQs need to be protected AND quickly accessible via the center line.

But yeah, your gear is a system. You don’t want to pack too much crap in this pouch, and it may be wise to consider the clearance of the gear below it. HSGI TACOS (and the TYR product that may or may not be suspiciously similar) offer flexibility on 3 axes. Other mag pouches most definitely do not.

Also, train as you fight. Understand how much is too much by running your basic load of sharpies, glow sticks and TQs AND THEN switching mags.

JC, I designed this to be the lowest profile possible. Yes, if nothing is worn on your carrier, you will have unobstructed access to your magazines. However, the PAP will allow you to run admin components with less obstructed access versus most commonly obtained admin pouches.

Roger Mr. Cole. You should have just used the above statement, referencing “less obstructed access” rather than the absolute statement of “DOES NOT”.

I’m not trying to be an ass about the description, but precise words mean precise things. Admins always interfere to some degree. Its just physics.

Is the patter in the first pic MultiCam Black bleached or is that some kind of secretive MultiCam Urban? it’s nice looking.

    • Nick M says:

I’m pretty certain it’s just normal Multicam hit with some photoshop to make the carrier black and white so that the focus is on the pouch.

Thanks Nick. I noticed that right after posting my comment as well, had a brain fart.
