Nice to see that Paraclete is back in the game.
I’m glad to see this! Not only something NEW from Paraclete, but also another option for long MIA Eagle LVAC!
The gap never really existed. VelSys make theirs for some years now.

I remember seeing even Digital Desert and Multicam as availlable colors through Grey Group back in the day. And cheaper than this LVBC.
I’d rather see Paraclete come back with some truly new designs, than making the same old ones with the same flaws again and again.
VelSys + Grey Group isn’t predictable sourcing–especially since Grey Group is now “affiliated” with a more “efficient” organization. Still awesome, just not the boutique (Arc’Teryx Combat Jacket in UCP, TAD Force 10 Blouse in ripstop OCP, VelSys in DigiDesert) it used to be.
SKD does a lot of good for a lot of people, and is a reliable source for LOTS of VelSys product, to include cummerbund armor for almost every application out there.
BALCS is a mature form factor, and a way of getting the plates where they need to be (lots of carriers put ’em way too low, leaving vitals up above exposed) is the kind of “new” that people who deal with those threats can use.
Reminds me of the First Spear Sleeper.
Paraclete has the new Alpha One carrier which is really good too, especially in AXIIIA. Different target audience but the brands alive.
Hopefully SKD will keep this is stock unlike others (Mayflower LPAC).
We worked really hard on keeping the price point low while introducing a couple key new features. Without going crazy on all the details, the feature we are most proud of is the plate hanger. You’ll see a bar-tack about 1″ from the edge near the top of the front panel. That is where the plate hanger attaches and your plate will ride right up to that point, which is the highest among the many BALCS Low-Vis options out there. Thanks!
