I own the civi version of the ionosphere, made by jack wolfskin. Very light, rugged, quick to set up (2-3 min tops) and very low profile. I reccommend it.

I’ve used the Ionospere for about a year now. I’ve used it myself, loaned it to friends, and used it as a two-man with my girlfriend. Solid all-around tent that’s very intuitively setup and it’s pretty light while it’s at it.

I own the Scorpion 2 and it is a solid tent. Earlier this year I had it with me during a FTX and we have had a pretty bad storm. Water was comind down in sheets – lets just say that I was dry, warm and cozy while my mates had water inside their issued tents. The only gripe I have about the Scorpion 2 is that it seems short on the inside. Now – I am 5 feet 7 inches on a good day, so no Goliath here but my head was right by the door zipper and my feet would touch the material on the other side. I tried to sleep in the angle but that provided little relief due to the tent shape. I live the idea of how there is two parts of the tent – and the possibility of setting up a quick shelter without setting up the whole tent.
