    Every time I read one of these stories on lasers as weapons, I can’t help but think of the movie ‘Real Genius’

    The battlefield impact of this weapon wouldn’t be appreciated until after the next war, just like the machine gun.

    But a air defense lasers that can zap anything out of the sky, smartbombs, mortars, AT missiles, gives the battlefield back to the tanks.

    Oh and makes allot of blind vets.
