GunfightersINC – Kenai Chest Holster

GunfightersINC’s Kenai Chest Holster was designed for wear during activities such as hunting, hiking, trapping and fishing.

The idea is to give you ready access to your revolver. Below is the open bottom style for any length Smith and Wesson 629. They can also build closed bottom, depending on what you want.

This is probably the best implementation of this idea I’ve seen. I looked on their site and didn’t find a price; anyone have any idea what they cost or if other models available?

  2. Whoa!! We made on Soldier Systems!! Thanks for the shout out! We are beyond stoked for the mention, being a small business and all! It’s like being on the cover of tactical Rolling Stones magazine!

For those interested – They will run $150 for the complete rig. Once you have the harness, replacement holsters will run $65 – this way if sometimes you run a Glock or other times you run a revolver you don’t need to buy multiple pieces of webbing. More versatility.

We will offer a full spread of firearms, including the Super Blackhawk, Super Redhawk, Toklat, .500 S&W and the new Glock 40 MOS.

Right now you can contact us via our website to order. In a few days, we will have some of the more common firearms available for purchase on Amazon.

The harness is hand sewn by us, using 100% US made nylon.. It’s solution-dyed for long-term durability and reduced IR signature. All thread is coated with waterproofing agent and is UV resistant for a long lifespan. We using stretch webbing in the back area for more comfort.

    looks like a modern m7 rig .. i like

  5. Oh! I like that. Reminds me of the old tanker (they are still in use) and pilot holsters only better.

Looks like just the set up for bear country. Well done.

  6. Steve says:

That is an ideal chest rig holster for fishing in bear country. This should sell really good !

  7. Dellis says:

Very nice rig! Recently purchased a S&W M&P R8, holsters are like finding a four leaf clover for it…any thoughts on a holster for that?

    Looks good! Take my money!

Interesting. Best chest-holster for large caliber revolvers has been the Guides Choice from Diamond D but, the leather would soak water and thus all the disadvantages of leather come to light. This is a more modern alternative.

Would like to see kydex holster that can attach to backpack straps.

    • We’ve played around with using the backpack straps (even built some protos), but the big dowside is if you take your pack off, you no longer are armed. It’s nice to be able to wander around camp or to the loo with your firearm nearby.

The other problem is the huge variance in shape and size of straps. With this setup we worked hard to keep it low profile and very usable with a pack harness.

Any plans for coordinated mag/loader/cartridge carriers?

  11. Brandon says:

This certainly has my attention. Might be a good way to pack my Alaskan. I too would like to see a simple way to carry an extra Comp I.
