Retail Salesperson Job Responsibilities:
Serves customers by helping them select products and services
Retail Salesperson Job Duties:
-Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering assistance.
-Directs customers to racks and counters; suggesting items for sale.
-Advises customers by providing product information.
-Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence offering suggestions and opinions.
-Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Retail Salesperson Skills and Qualifications:
-Customer Service, Selling to Customer Needs, Product Knowledge, People Skills, High Energy Level, Dependability, General Math Skills, Verbal Communication, and Job Knowledge.
-Military and or Police background a plus.
-Minimum 1 year retail sales experience.
