    in a perfect world, a Contour or a VIRB…

    in this world, a GoPro.

    • Bussaca says:

Contour was designed with an Picatinny rail adapter.. yet go pro still hasn’t.. Been a fan of the contour for a long time..

      • Nick says:

I broke my contour mount on the second mission I ever carried it on.

As well as wrecking the mounting interface on the side of the camera.

        • You should mission less hard. 😉

        • straps says:

Did you break the Picatinny mount (which I’ve been happy with–just keep LocTite Blue handy for switching between weapon and helmet) or the total POS Arc rail mount (which I broke wile installing)?

Unity Tactical was working on a Contour mount when they realized that way more folks wanted Atom slides and SF300 shrouds than wanted a mount for a camera that fell from the market during R&D…

    • Mike says:

The concept of the Contour is great, but the quality of the product, especially the mounts, is just so disappointing.

The GoPro has the quality of construction in its favor, even if the design is not optimal for my hobbies.

Contour couldn’t hold onto Benelli pic rail on snow goose control hunt 2 years ago; reminds me need to try it on AR and for fun. Been sitting idle.
