This is my friend Mike D’s carbine. I know you’re going to ask about it, so here’s some background.

Primarily, the SOCOM contract Vortex Razor HD GEN II 1-6x24mm w/ MRAD reticle and zero stops cradled in a purpose built SOPMOD Geissele Mount and topped with a Reptilia ROF 90 Mount w/RMR.

You’ll notice he’s using the new Reptilia ROF 90 Mount. He had some notes on his impression of the mount.

Why Geissele did not make this prior to Reptilia is beyond me.

The Reptilia Mount provides an added capability to the optics suite by integrating a secondary optic which can be rapidly employed by the shooter.

Initial impressions were that the ROF mount could be 1/8” or so higher, but after firing the platform out to 600m, the elevation turrets when adjusted for range, did not occlude the RMR.
