US PALM will be releasing the new AK Battle grip in just a few short weeks. Here are some new details to help tide you over while you wait.
Initially, they will be available in Black, FDE, and a special request for a Brown/Bakelite-ish color. The photo depicts the US PALM logo and a few OEM makers have already requested their logo which is only available on the left side of the grip. A modified version of the highly successful TangoDown Battle Grip, the angle on the new AK variant really drives your hand up into the grip/receiver junction, unlike the original Soviet design that almost does the opposite. Additionally, the “fill” of the gap between the grip and the trigger-guard makes for a happy ring-finger.
