Looks good. What flavor of whey is recommended?

I made this recipe about a year ago. Very tasty. I just used the chocolate protein powder I had on hand for post-exercise consumption.

My wife made these for me back in September when my partner and I launched out for a five day treck through the Eastern Sierras. These are extremely good and provide enough energy for several hours of activity. I was humping a Eberlestock Destroyer ruck (70 lbs) and wearing one of the Hill People Gear Kit Bag chest rigs with my essentials in it. If you haven’t looked at the HPG products you are missing out. We started at 8,000 feet and crested the pass at close to 12,000. THe rest of the week was a slow descent into Kings Canyon. My point is we were burning a lot of energy. These bars really helped.

These things pack some serious energy, They’re great warmed up over the wood stove with a mug of coffee. They’ll definitely get you down the trail, and aren’t loaded down with crap like a lot of the store bought bars.

Any idea with which non-animal product I could replace the eggs with?
