Defence Material Organisation is seeking a Contracts Manager for their Soldier Systems program. The position is with the Clothing Systems Program Office (CLOSPO) is part of Integrated Soldier Systems Branch within Land Systems Division of the Defence Materiel Organisation. CLOSPO is responsible for approximately 4,000 distinct products all of which are available in numerous sizes and variations. Overall, CLOSPO manages more than 20,000 lines of inventory.The Contract Manager is part of a team responsible for planning and managing the acquisition and introduction into service of an assigned equipment in support of Australian Defence Force (ADF) Capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and management of the activities that are required to manage the solicitation (including requesting and evaluating tenders) and assisting with the management of contracts.
