Propper’s TAC.U Combat Shirt in A-TACS is now available for preorder from Predator BDU. We wrote about it at SHOT show and we can say that it is truly unlike any other combat shirt on the market. It’s made from a combination of NYCO Poly Cotton sleeves and a Poly Cotton mix torso and is printed in the A-TACS pattern which seems to be gaining a lot of momentum. The shoulders are padded and the sleeves feature inset pockets with zippered closures.
Available in XS – 4XL in short, regular and long. When we heard the price we couldn’t believe it. Predator anticipates delivery in September.

The website currently only shows the 4xl in Regular, but if it turned up in a Long I will definitely have to have one (I am unfortunately gigantic). Lots of clothing makers give up on Long after 3xl.
Even a Long was generally not long enough in most things when I was in the Army, I was a 2xlarge-xlong back then when I was in shape, and I’ve not gotten shorter as I’ve gotten fat.
Is it NIR? What about any flame retardant models that may come out? Would it be better to wait?
The sleeves are actually made out of Battle Rip 65/35 poly/cotton ripstop, which means the shirt is not NIR compliant. There aren’t immediate plans for an NIR or FR version at this time.
Megan, thanks for that update because the info I received had them as 50/50 NYCO
Not impressed. I can do just as well with a khaki UA shirt and brown spray paint.
Doc, if you mean the camo pattern…maybe. If you mean the shirt, no, you can’t.
September delivery? I’m wanting to get this for the summer…
