This is the Ten-Speed Triple M4 Mag Pouch from Blue Force Gear. When it first came out years ago, I was skeptical of its durability but I’m pleased to say that my reservations were ill-founded. Rather than losing elasticity or developing holes from wear at the corners of magazines, many of those early versions are still in service today. That’s thanks to the construction. They use a military-grade elastic combined with BFG’s ULTRAcomp laminate. Not only is it durable and low-profile but also lightweight. The Ten-Speed also incorporates their Helium Whisper attachment system which is PALS compatible.
Designed specifically for CQC (close quarters combat) and tubular assaults, the elastic keeps the magazines in place, yet right at your fingertips. There are no buckles or straps to fool with. While the pouch holds three M4 magazines (polymer or metal), it will also accommodate medical supplies, bandages, flash bangs, or other similar-sized items.

I’ve had mine for years. I run it on the flap of my IOTV to have quick access to stuff when I’m in a veichle hatch and not wearing my rack.
So this thing really does work well? I have been making my own version of this out of Kydex in my garage for a while now, and I keep running into clearance problems. It’s actually quite tricky to make something out of melted plastic that wraps snugly around three mags, supports their weight, but doesn’t grab them so snugly that you can’t have them free.
In any event, I’ve successfully made two mag holders out of Kydex, but getting it to work with three has proven tricky. If this thing works, sign me up.
Yeah, they are actually pretty money. The trick is putting a mag back into them in a hurry. So, during a shooting course where you are constantly cycling magazines, it can take a bit of getting used to to feed the mag back in as quickly as you could with a kydex or normal nylon one. I use a single mag one on the interior side of my cummerbund and I have another one on the interior of my chest rig to secure the remote for my radios. Works perfect for both.

Also, I’m not ashamed to admit that I simply cannot use any mag holder with the little paracord bunjies on the top under any kind of stressful situation. So, sure, sitting on my couch watching Seinfeld, they work just fine for me. But trying to do a quick magazine change or while running or crouching (especially while wearing gloves), and I simply cannot get them to work. I play Airsoft because it’s fun but also to “field” all my gun accessories doodads, and I’ve gotten totally obliterated fiddling with those bunjies may holders.
I keep mine on the MOLLE of the main compartment of my CFF Claymore bag to organize my phone, PURELL, wallet, pens and pencils.
I do too, fits like it was designed for it.
I even sometimes put mags in mine, along with radios lights pens notebooks compact cameras phones IFAKs moist towelettes GPSs bug spray jerky skellgel dog leash….
Great product. I’ve got one that has three hard tours that is still completely usable.
I still have and use a double pistol and a double rifle 10Speed from the 2009/2010 timeframe. They simply won’t quit. Total believer.
No durability issues to speak of with mine, only some color fading in my Multicam version. Great kit
