Gear Pockets

If you’re the average SSD reader then you own quite a bot of kit and/or you deploy to various locations regularly where you live out of your bags.

Gear Pockets are great organizers. They’re kind of like an oversized shaving kit that provides numerous mesh pockets to organize your gear. It can be hung up like a shaving kit along a wall or the side of a vehicle or even between two trees if need be and then rolled up or folded in half for movement. All-in-all it’s a pretty cool idea, whether at home storing your gear or while deployed and using it every day.

Gear Pockets are available in three different styles; The Original, The Sportsman and The Organizer with different pocket configurations.

In the same theme, the cot accessories by Cabela’s are very nice to have on hand. I used them extensively in my last IQ deployment, and it helped with organization. I’ll get this item before my next trip to the box.

I want one of these horizontally configured for the trunk of my car, ever seen anything like that?

there are a couple of “cube” organizing packages for trunk spaces out there. The ones I’m thinking of were soft sided, collapsible, and in various sizes. I can’t think of the name brands though.

but I’d like it to mount to the part of the trunk that opens. I already have thin rope stretched across the face that you see when it opens with a few small pockets, but I’d like to simultaneously maximize the space and have a few things closer to my hands and eyes when I pop the trunk.
