And check out the colors it’s sporting…
Local Motors just rolled another Rally Fighter off the production line for an employee of one the most innovative companies I have ever seen; Crye Precision. Look for it at SHOT Show.

Still no diesel?
I cringed when this thing choked out on Top Gear USA. An offroader with spark ignition and no snorkel? Embarrassing.
Somehow it looks to me like a mazda RX8 on steroids…and RWD? To each his own I guess.
Jelly Donut,
Currently no diesel, but the performance envelope is similar to the prototype’s (BMW M57 Diesel) performance-went from 225 hp and 430 #/tq to 430 hp and 425#/tq.
What Top Gear failed to emphasize was that this vehicle was designed for regions like AZ. They also failed to show when they had it 6 feet under. At the time of filming, we had already switched over to a closed canister system, found on the DARPA XC2V Flypmode. Eric,
I hear so many different models when describing this car, and I really need to start writing them down. You’ll find RWD is practically a standard in trophy trucks-4WD adds to much weight (and cost) for racing.
Hope you all join us in bucking the trend-and let us know what you think when you see it at SHOT.
I’m digging the new Batmobile! 🙂
