  1. Fred says:

    Found him.

  2. Walter says:

    Got em

  3. Brooks says:

Found him pretty quick. It’s just too bad that whomever produced this picture is either an incredibly bad photographer or is attempting to deliberately mislead the viewers as to the efficiency of the camouflage. I would like to see the sharp version of this picture.

  4. AmmoKan says:

Nice, took me a second, if I hadn’t of zoomed in I would have missed him.

  5. Reseremb says:

Is that supossed to be hard? Big rock on the left, behind a small bush.

  6. Reseremb says:

By the way, it is the skin tone who revealed the guy’s position, camouflage effectivity needs total camouflage.

  7. Strike-Hold! says:

Found him in about 5 seconds – big rock at 9 o’clock next to the bush.

    1. Obvious choice of cover
    2. Camouflage doesn’t match the texture or color of the rock
    3. Exposed skin tones (face)
    4. Clear outline of his pouches

  8. Adrian says:

Found that guy ridiculously fast. I appreciate you guys putting up the photo so we could do this. I hope this is just the photographers blunder, could we get a photo with a guy actively camouflaging himself?

    • Chris says:

If you got a guy actively camouflaging himself you wouldn’t be able to find him if he did everything he was taught!

  9. Greg says:

I couldn’t find him, but being in front of rock a is a terrible place to be if your trying to hide in brush.

  10. majrod says:

Cool exercise. What were we testing? The uniform isn’t bad for the environment. As with most cases, skin color and expected shapes (helmet, pouches, human form) will always give you away. Some camo stick and bush in the helmet cover would have made it much more difficult. Hmmmm, maybe returning to helmet covers might be relearning old lessons.

  11. Joel says:

skin and outline made it pretty obvious, add a black rifle to that and he’d stick out like a sore thumb. but as far as pattern goes, thats pretty good, so far they have my vote!

    • Joel says:

ahh his weapon is behind the bush… as long as hes got that bush in front of him, hes good to go!

  12. Army soldier says:

Big Army please just select this camouflage pattern and stop wasting time with the validation tests. This is good to go and exceeds MARPAT and Multi-Cam.
