Zombie Nation

20120507-115118.jpg

Just out from the same folks who bring you your monthly “Guns and Ammo” magazine is the new “Zombie Nation” annual. It’s packed full of zombie firearms, knives and accessories as well info on books and the hit TV show “The Walking Dead.”

Say what you will about the zombie “craze” but when Larue has a zombie specific ad, there must be something to it.

On newsstands now.

I wish it would all just go away…

    • David says:

Why ? It’s all just FUN ! Enjoy what you like and let others do the same!

      • Chris says:

I totally agree David! This is all just for fun! I am in my mid 40’s as are my friends, we are professionals, prior military/police/etc. We all just have fun with this and it is just that…fun. My wife even joins in the fun with us as do some of the other wives. Does not mean it is our life, just entertainment…and it can get entertaining!

    And how.

  3. Paul says:

When Larue has a zombie ad, that simply means that Mark Laure is a schrude businessman.

Money is money – I’m sure he’s just as happy to take money from a warfighter commited to their craft as he is to take money from a zombieslayerdeltasealcommandowaltermittyairsofteronthesidewannabe

  4. Jason says:

Speaking as someone who’s been known to wear a Zombie Hunter t shirt, even I had to leave this one on the shelf. Something about an AR that looks like a bass boat…

  5. John M. Denny says:

I dunno, I was into the zombie thing before it went mainstream, now it’s getting old. I think maybe having eveything with a zombie name, or logo is just overload.

I do like Hornady’s Zombie ammo, I shoot the zombie targets, and will do a round of Nazi Zombies, but it is getting to be too much now.

I’ll not fault G&A for doing this, but it ain’t for me anymore.

  6. TCBA_Joe says:

You know what? I’m glad there’s an overload of this zombie garbage. People are getting sick of the immediate over exposure, and I’m hoping it’ll kill it off quickly.

  7. OmegaDR says:

Not just Larue has Zombie products, but almost every major Firearms manufacturer and accessories maker. The articles are horribly written and just bad advice. This pub is just one big Zombie Product Catalog.

One so-called expert recommends every zombie hunting team must have a sniper. Instead of recommending a some weapon in an easy to find caliber like 308, 270, or 223, these experts recommend 300 whisper. That’s going to be easy to find when the Undead SHTF. And a bolt-action rifle is exactly what you need when the zombie horde is coming toward you….NOT.

This Zombie Craze is ignorant beyond belief. Stop buying these products and hopefully it will blow over soon.

I think the Zombie fad is comic relief..I would much rather hear about zombie stuff as I would the Kardashians or other stupid stuff that the media exposes all the time. Do I think there will be “zombies”? ehhh, maybe not like whats portrayed, but I think the zombies we could face one day would be either from a biological weapon or simply trying to survive, by raiding our houses, looking for food or other items of necessity, because the power grids have been out for weeks, months..
Plus…it should be a sales pitch to our wives, when we see the newest, baddest weapon out there, we can promote it to our wives “Honey, we need this, when the zombies come, what do you want to defend yourself with, the(name your weapon of choice here) or that new hair straightner you saw at Wal-Mart?? think about it dear!!”
