Apparently, you didn’t watch the video. I’ve known Yaeger for many years and he is one wild guy. This video definitely makes an unabashed statement.
No, I watched it, I just wondered what the point of posting it was. Love or hate him, James is definitely a larger than life personality. He has had some good trainers working with him, including the late Paul Gomez. I think this video was one of the ones he made as a reality tv show bio.
he should have invested some cash into a college fund for his kids instead of this nonsense…

I never understood why preppers tell the world they have a huge stockpile of this and that. If someone wants your shit bad enough they will take it. I don’t know James so I cant comment on him.

I like a confident teacher, and all teachers must by nature have some element of narcissism, but teaching is for others and I don’t know how well Yeager can instruct a class when he’s apparently so self-absorbed.
I fully believe that he IS the most controversial instructor out there because, by contrast, most of the other high end instructors seem very approachable and down to earth.

Haha, so it’s a lifestyle blah blah blah. A couple years ago he was fat as fuck haha, where was his lifestyle then? I can handle guys like him because they embarrass themselves, no one has to do it for them. His demeanor was totally unproffessional, if I was looking for a hired gun I wouldn’t hire him. And as far as his end of the world prep scenario, completely attrition based, which fat lazy people usually prescribe to. A manuever plan makes more sense. If he was so committed to the lifestyle were is his tabs his EGA or trident? Paint baller who wondered into a gun store, then got hired by a back woods l.e. agency, lied on his resume when pmcs would hire anyone with a boy scout merit badge, got shot at once or twice and is now the baddest mfer alive. God I love the Internet, before it came along entertainment like this u had to pay for.
Jaeger is actually a very down to earth humble guy this video is more over the top than he truly is. Watch some of his youtube videos, he would definitely be someone I would like to shoot/train with and later enjoy a beer or two with!

My personal opinion is that this gives our entire industry a horrible exposure to the general public on so many levels… the industry side, the training side and from an overall quick snap of what we all do to make our lives safer and the lives of our loved ones safer. Whether we serve, have served or work in any compactly to contribute in a constructive manner – this affects you! Our public face should promote positive ideas and this does the exact opposite.
I don’t know this guy; I really don’t want too. People have to realize that our industry is much bigger than a loud mouth that can’t complete an educated sentence without cursing.
I understand this is his personality, but he took it a little too far and stepped on his dick in my opinion.
I was rolling in Baghdad on the 20th of April 05, I knew Chris “Camel” Ahmelman back in the day and I would dearly like to hope that James is parting some form of knowledge to offset that fact that he let three of his comrades down in battle on that day. If I had failed so greatly I would be devoting the rest of my life to doing some good.

The James “Runaway” Yeager video clearly shows him as a failure and a fraud. All this talk in front of the camera about his extensive training and how bad ass he is, when his moment came to him he showed the whole world (on video) how much he sux. Fail on top of fail
