Pack Your Bags Pt II – James Yeager Confirms His Resolve

After posting a controversial video yesterday condemned by many (and received national attention), James Yeager has posted a new video that confirms his resolve to resist tyranny. He claims to have an “army” of supporters for his stance and we thought it would only be fair to post this new video in light of comments made here regarding his earlier video. He does caution against rash actions but stands by his earlier comments, clarifying what he meant lest he be taken out of context.

Lastly, Yeager calls for those who have ‘stolen’ his videos to take them down. For that one needs to go take a look at his Youtube and Facebook license agreements. He has given them and by extension virtually anyone the right to use those videos. And, even if he hadn’t, they have taken on news value and fair use is in play. The point of all of this is that it once again goes to show that you can’t run from the internet. It never sleeps and never forgets.

This is marketing 101 in Yeager’s mind. He will have a flood of people paying for his courses after this.

I’m betting that is reason numero uno behind these videos and subsequent follow ups you’ll continue to see down the road.

He’s winding people up for his financial benefit and attention/name recognition and it’s working!

    • ACE says:

      – To the detriment of sane gun owners.

      • J to the T says:

LMAO!! This one is the best yet. He needs to do a series of PSA’s, they would be hilarious. For him any press, bad or good is what he is after, and he gets it, too much I might add. For someone that pulls in the kind of money a year that he does, makes you kind of wonder, is it worth it to be a douche bag like him.

  2. Henry says:

I am all for the first and second, but this crosses a line or two

    • Chris says:

      which line?

      • Joe says:

The line between threats and inciting violence.

        • Chris says:

Yeah, I didn’t see him inciting any violence. I saw him ask people where their line in the sand was and to be prepared if it was ever crossed. He never said anything demanding people start shooting or stabbing tyrants as soon as they get off work.

          • bob says:

Incitement are words that by their very nature are likely to cause an immediate breach of the peace. I can think that even a crappy prosecutor would be able to indict Yager on incitement charges, especially with his “I’m gonna kill folks” statement. Think twice, post (film) once.

  3. GAK_PDX says:

So he doesn’t need legal advice, but than demands that people stop using “his” video that he gave away to content distribution services.

    Run that mouth some more.

  4. Angry Misha says:

Asshat with nothing more under his belt than “adventure training”

How’d that duel thing work out for him?

    • checkmate6 says:

What is it with you and James, did he cum in your mouth? You almost sound like James has all consumed your pea brain.

Seriously, you have gone completely full fucking retard for this guy, are you sure your not in love.

  5. 5150 popo says:

He is nothing but a poser and a coward judging by his past and only short operating experience in the box…
The only thing he is good at is marketing himself ..
    He is a tool !

  6. Dog-the hunter says:

    Back to the pile!!!!

  7. Chris says:

Still Free Speech. Suck it harder, Commies.

    • Winston says:

But freedom of speech doesn’t protect you from what you have said. (https://soldiersystems.net/2012/09/16/the-right-free-speech/) Yaeger is a tool, plain and simple. In his mind he is standing up for the 2A, but in reality he is providing propaganda for those who oppose gun ownership. Yaeger needs to STFU and take a back seat, as there is a fine line between pride and extremism, and he is leaning towards the latter.

  8. Joesixpak says:

Someone please get this idiot off the internet!

  9. Chris says:

the guy’ is right though. I don’t care about be a “responsible” gun owner. I care on not having my rights infringed.

    • Matt says:

Responsibility is knowing when to stand up for principle, and even though he had harsh words, Yaeger did it.

  10. Burkey says:

Doing more harm than good !! Although I am sure having him in charge of an ‘army’ would be comical.

  11. bob says:

Just watched Travis Haley cover the topic. Much more eloquent, much more rational. This is the type of thinking we need right now.

  12. Ross says:

Reading some of these comments in response to James video, I just have to wonder just how much will some of you folks “fight” to ensure the 2nd Amendment and the American way survives? Because whether you realize it or not that’s where we are at.

  13. Matt says:

I don’t think many people actually realize that gun owners are between a rock and a hard place: we act civil, the opposition attacks us. We pull a Yaeger, the opposition attacks us. There is no middle ground here, and the other side is playing for keeps. What are you playing for?

  14. Matt7184 says:

On his personal website, Yeager’s Corner, Yeager says he’s a “TN Department Of Safety Certified Firearms Instructor.”

But Dalya Qualls, a spokesperson for the Department of Safety and Homeland Security, told TPM that’s just not the case.

“I have confirmed with our Handgun Unit that Mr. Yeager is not a Department of Safety and Homeland Security certified handgun instructor and Tactical Response is not a department certified school,” Qualls said in an email.

Though Yeager lists himself as a “firearms instructor,” Qualls told TPM he is not certified by the department and that there is no such certification offered.

  15. Ted Bundy says:

Pure marketing stunt. He is trying to cash in on the Militia crowd that is praying for this. It’s there chance to be “Someone” in their own fantasy world. They failed so far in life so they want to blow it up and start over. He figures he might make a buck off them for training classes. Who wants a world were assclowns like this declare themselves a “General”? LOL

He strikes me as a bar room pussy. Everybody knows you never worry about the guy ACTING tough. 10X that if it’s on the internet. I worry about the quite guy in the corner. Not to fake tough guy running his MOUTH.

  16. Lionheart. says:

Is it just me or does James Yaeger appear/sound like an Insurgent in the making. I don’t know why I bothered going to Afghanistan, the real threat is within the U.S!. Seriously why hasn’t the authorities stepped in and talked or put a stop to this wanker? He’s already stated he will commit acts of violence and that he can organize an Army that is ready to fight. Somebody needs to give this guy an ego check. Stat.

    • Kevin says:

Did you think we were fighting for freedom in Afghanistan? It’s hard to accept we that we were not fighting for freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan. It hits hard. One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter. I am a firm believer in the 1st amendment. I dont believe any speech should be banned, no matter how heinous.

    • Chuck says:

And just what did you think the 2A is for? It ain’t so you can shoot ducks or compete in 3 gun matches. It’s for killing tyrants. So he sounds dangerous and scary to the leftist government types and their media stooges?

      That’s the whole point.

Just because we know he’s full of shit and a self-promoter is irrelevant. We WANT them to be scared shitless so maybe they’ll think twice about what they are setting out to do. I don’t think most of those in government and the media comprehend the level of anger out here. Clearly many of the commenters here plan to meekly hand in their guns or submit to “universal background checks” or whatever nonsense Joe the Clown will come up with in his “consultations” with “gun safety” groups but there will be enough of us who won’t comply that things will get very ugly. Some of the commenters here may even be the ones doing the dirty work for Joe and Barry and Dianne and Chuck. Good luck with that. You might want to read this from Matt Bracken: http://westernrifleshooters.wordpress.com/2013/01/07/bracken-dear-mr-security-agent/

Yeah, Yeager is a toolbag, but that doesn’t invalidate the basic truth that our God-given inalienable rights, of which the RKBA is the ultimate guarantor, are in dire peril. I’m not just talking about gun rights, I’m talking about everything that is (supposed to be) protected by the Bill of Rights.

At some point all of us, especially those of us who are serving or have served are going to have to make some very difficult decisions. I hope it never comes to that, but the tension in this country is palpable and I fear things will get a hell of a lot worse before they get better if this relentless assault on liberty continues.

  17. hodge175 says:

If I trained under Yeager or had someone on my department that has trained under him I would be very worried by his most recent comments in these videos.

Just think if your in a lawful shooting where you had to use to firearm to protect yourself or your family. The lawyers get a hold of these videos and say… look this is who he has trained under, someone talking about murder and killing.

He is putting a lot of firearms owners at risk with his comments

  18. Zulu6 says:

Well now he has hit the big time. TPM is the Liberal Version of MSNBC and is highly regarded by the New York Times where this video will end up next! This will hurt all of us who believe in 2A rights. I can’t buy even freekin 20 round mags because of all the panic.

  19. Bill says:

We have systems in place to defend the Constitution that have been working very well regarding the 2nd Amendment lately. There are arguably fewer restrictions on firearms and ownership now than since 1968. And they were all achieved without a shot being fired or a single backpack full of bulk-up nutritional supplements. What *might* happen legislatively remains to be seen, but all those lawyers that he doesn’t need advice from, who argued cases like Heller, know that if you can push your opponent’s buttons and get them to do something rash/stupid, you’ve won the fight before it started.

    • Chance says:

I agree. Proposed legislation is frustrating, but using our votes and our pocket books has worked consistently, is continuing to work now and will work in the future. Laws fluctuate, but steady pressure will win out over sporadic mania in the long term.

People flipping out does nothing but detract from the eloquent arguments the vast majority of us are making. Trying to scare “them” does nothing but reinforce gun-control advocate’s resolve.

  20. Kope says:

Borderline homegrown terrorism. I urge everyone who watches this to watch Travis Haley’s video. There is a real difference. Even if I am not Pro 2A the Haley video makes people think, yes we do need guns. People watching this think this guy is mentally stable and is exactly the reason why people shouldn’t have guns.

  21. Ken says:

Douche nozzle Yeager needs to speak less and read more, like little things like, “terms of use”. He said it, he owns it. Again, he is the 2A’s worst nightmare. He needs to shut up, he isn’t helping the situation.

  22. Jungle says:

Thank you so much for posting these I download them then play them at the bi weekly cub.

  23. wyoming grunt says:

Why do you continue do give this douche a forum? He is a complete phony and coward. A self aggrandizing loser trying to get business. If you want serious training look to Viking Tactics, TMACS, CSAT

  24. Mike says:

This one made front-page news in Germany and is covered extensively by german biggest weekly news magazine “Der Spiegel” online branch:
