I still don’t see any reason why I cop needs camo. Those guys can wear ties and spit shined patent leather all day.

    I just think it’s irresponsible to dress police up like they’re in the military. It gives them the attitude that they’re at war when they’re supposed to be peacekeepers. I’m just one guy on the internet so who gives a shit what I think.

      I’m with you Matty. The militarization of the police is a cause for concern. SWAT teams have their place and time(terrorism response, armed standoffs, hostage situations). What ever happened to “Officer Friendly”?

I have been in Columbia for the past week there were a lot of dude rock blue digital camo with black web gear. stood out like a dot thumb in grey urban environment. the original a- tacs is much better suited for urban police, multicam or a-tacs au for rural environments. it’s m option the police both beat cops and tactical units need to get out the typical black blue or green solid uniforms. yes they are the to protect in serve but serves no one any good if they stand out easily on the way to the scene and become targets of opportunity!
