the helmet, the vehicle, reminds me of HALO

  2. Erik says:

Hm, looks like they got Glocks now?

  3. timeout says:

    19’s specifically

  4. adil says:

like what reader said: looks like HALO!!!

  5. Reverend says:

Daaaaannngggg! I was thinking that was a scene from the new “GI JOE” movie!

  6. Mr. European says:

    Third for Halo.

I’ve always liked tracers when it comes to military photography. It makes things look so much more futuristic.

  7. CD0311 says:

Erik beat me to it. Glock instead of Colt MEUSOC .45??

  8. MarcusAurelius says:

He desperately needs a BE Meyers M240 Flash hider! Photo wouldn’t be nearly as cool, but he wouldn’t be an instant target.

  9. atar1 says:

I’ve seen them with Glock 19s (mostly stock) or OLD 1911s (user customized, well worn). Operator preference. Haven’t seen any guys with the Colt MARSOC 1911s yet, but its been a few months since I’ve worked with them.

It was sad to see one MSOT carrying M4 carbines because they couldn’t get Mk18’s at the time.

  10. Adam says:

Certain MSOBs (don’t want to say which in order to avoid identifying this gentleman) are getting Glocks instead of M9s for “normal use.” The M45 is more for DA type stuff.

  11. Deadeye says:

Fourth for HALOesque photo. Interesting vehicle. Looks too large for an up armored ATV. Anyone know what it is?

  12. Emre says:

I’m pretty sure the vehicle is a Polaris MRZR.

  13. Dave says:

The vehicle could be the militarized version of the Polaris RZR “Razor” made by Polaris Industries, Inc.

  14. Joe says:

I can confirm that West coast based MSOB’s use Glocks and according to my source a Gunny (E-7) for all you non Jarhead types they are preferred to any and all available sidearms.
