For the release of the VanGuard 2 for the M&P family of pistols, Raven Concealment Systems decided to change things up. In the past, they’ve opened new products to Pre-orders, but this time, they didn’t announce the holster until they were in stock and ready to ship.
So if you’ve been patiently waiting since SHOT Show for the M&P VanGuard 2 to be available, this is your notice. Order it now.
The “Lanyard Kit” will be $19.99.
The “Full Kit” will be $34.99.
Designed to work with all M&P compact, fullsize, .45, .45 compact, .22 pistols, these will NOT work with the M&P Shield.

Boom. Ordered.
Thanks for the heads up.
Good price. Nice piece of kit. How is it for comfort? I know you can only expect so much.
I use it to carry my G19 and it is very comfortable.
Is there some technical design reason why they don’t make these for other pistols like 1911s?
think about the space between the sides of the trigger guard to the sides of the trigger. on the glock, and on the MP this acts by popping into that space and covering the trigger…the space between the sides of the guard and the trigger on a 1911 is VERY small. thus, probaby unsafe to do the same thing for 1911s
The retention would also probably have to be quite high to hold a 40oz pistol.
Check out RDRholsters’ Micro Carry, they make a model similar, but it’s reholsterable one handed, and they make it for a bunch of different guns.
Ah, perfect… thank you. Exactly what I’ve been chasing.
No shield? WTF
If you want to throw them the $10k’s for another new injection mold, I’m sure they’d make you one.
Give them time…
