Crye Precision founders Caleb Crye and Gregg Thompson, graduated from Cooper Union’s School of Art in ’97 and Albert Nerken School of Engineering graduate in ’00. The University’s website recently published a great piece on them.

It’s always cool to hear from these guys. I never knew how the team of Caleb/Gregg was originally formed. The story is uniquely American and the new facility looks great. Keep up the good work, I’m excited to see what Crye Precision will do next. -Adam

Cooper Union was free last I remember. If you got accepted from the global pool of applicants that was a success in itself.
